It’s only January and already the festival announcements are coming thick and fast! We’re not complaining – we can’t wait to don our best short shorts and cute rucksacks and take to the fields. So what do we know so far? Let’s take a look at the best of the bunch:

Okay, so we’re super, super, super excited about this one. Taking place in the sun-drenched surroundings of California, the line-up is one of the best we’ve ever seen. The three headline slots have been given to Muse, Arcade Fire and sees the monumental return of the kings of hip-hop – Outkast. The likes of The Knife, Queens of the Stone Age, Lorde and Pharrell Williams will all be taking to the stage too along with a load of art installations. Pack your bikini’s girls – this one’s going to be a belter!

  • ATP: 10th – 12th July, Iceland

This year saw the sad demise of ATP at Camber Sands, with the final weekends taking place in December of 2013. Thankfully, ATP mega-fans can still get their fix of the best indie offerings around – you’ll just have to hop on a plane to get there. ATP Iceland will be taking place in July and the headliners sees the incredible Interpol return to the stage and Bristol’s Portishead will also be headlining. Set in the stunning surroundings of Keflavík, you can’t really ask for anything more.

Primavera Sound never, ever disappoints on line-ups. This year sees the mighty return of Motel favourites Neutral Milk Hotel, who have been keeping quiet for the past few years. Hopefully, we’ll be able to hear some new material from them! Headlining alongside Neutral Milk Hotel are the wondrous Pixies, who will no doubt be playing a few favourites as well as material from their latest album. Sun, Sangria and hot Spanish boys? Yes please!
